How to File the Own Damage Insurance Claim for Two Wheeler?

Here are the steps following which you can initiate the claim process:

1. Inform the Insurance Company

Convey about the incident to your insurance provider immediately after the accident or mishap leading to the insurance claim. You can make your claim either by calling on their toll-free number or sending an email. You can get the claim form from the branch of your insurance company or you can download it from the official website of the insurance provider.

2. Submit the Evidences

You should submit as many as possible evidences of the accident or mishap to the insurance company in the form of some pictures of the damages sustained by your two-wheeler vehicle. You need to fill up the claim form which is required to be submitted along with the relevant documents.

3. Take the Insured Vehicle to Garage

Take your damaged two-wheeler vehicle to the garage for repair. If you take the vehicle to a network garage for repair, in that case, you can easily file a cashless claim, where cost is settled directly by the insurance provider. On the other hand, if you avail the repair services from a non-network garage, you will have to pay for the bills first and make the claim later.
