• The Service Request Registration page will open, then, from the drop-down menu, click on the ‘Address Change’ option.

• On the next page, read the terms and conditions and then click on ‘I Agree’ and then ‘Proceed’.

• You will see a list of all the LIC policies you have purchased. Click on the policy you want to change the address and click on ‘Proceed’.

• You will get an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify it on the next page. 

• Then, provide your new address and upload a self-attested scanned image of the address proof. Then, click on the ‘Submit’ option.

• After the update, you will receive a confirmation message on your phone. You can also download the Service Request Confirmation letter using the ‘Download PDF’ option.

• Your LIC address update online is completed, but the change will take at least three working days to come into effect.

• First, you must inform your nearest LIC service branch that you want to change the policy address. Do not forget to carry your ID proof, address proof, and the policy's photocopy, as these will be required for the address change procedure.
