      • What am I covered for under in-patient hospitalisation benefit under Health Recharge policy offered by Niva Bupa Health Insurance?

        Under in-patient hospitalisation benefit, the policy covers you for the following healthcare expenses: 

        • Nursing expenses for hospitalisation as an in-patient except private nursing charges
        • Medical practitioners’ fees, excluding expenses or fees for standby services
        • Medicines, consumables, drugs as prescribed by medical practitioner 
        • Physiotherapy, investigation and diagnostics procedures directly related to the ongoing hospitalisation 
        • Expenses related to prosthetics or other equipment if implanted internally during surgery 
        • Intravenous fluids, injection administration charges, blood transfusion and/or consumables 
        • Operation theatre charges 
        • ICU expenses
      • Does this policy come with any add-on benefit?

        Yes. Health Recharge Policy comes with three add-on benefits that you can purchase voluntarily by paying an extra premium to enjoy enhanced coverage under the policy. These include personal accident cover (accidental death, accidental permanent total disability, and permanent partial disability), critical illness cover, and modification in room rent.  

      • What are the deductible options under this policy?

        Annual aggregate deductible options under this policy are of Rs. 10k, Rs. 25k, and Rs. 50k in E-Saver option, whereas between Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 10 Lakh in multiples of Rs. 1 Lakh.   

      • What is loyalty addition in this policy?

        With loyalty addition, you can enjoy an increase of 5% of expiring base sum insured in a policy year. You can avail the benefit for up to 50% of the base sum insured, without any increase in sub-limits. Note that you can only avail this benefit for base sum insured of up to Rs. 25 Lakh.
