About Bajaj Allianz Star Package Health Insurance
Star Package Policy offered by Bajaj Allianz General Insurance is a unique all-in one package policy that offers comprehensive protection for all your worries. Apart from medical cover, the policy also offers protection for household contents as well as baggage insurance. The policy comes with 8 sections from which you are required to select at least 3 sections. These are hospital cash, health guard, critical illness, personal accident, education grant, householders contents, traveling baggage, and public liability. The features and benefits differ with different sections offered under the policy. However, the Health Guard section comes with sum insured options ranging between, Rs. 1.5 Lakh and Rs. 1 Crore.
Under the policy, you can get your entire family covered at an affordable premium. The policy allows you to enhance your sum insured at the time of renewals, for which you will be required to submit a fresh proposal form with the renewal notice. A general waiting period under the policy is of 30 days which is calculated from the date of inception of the policy.

The Health Guard section of Star Package Policy offered by Bajaj Allianz General Insurance comes with the following sub-limits on room rent:
- For Silver plan, there is a limit for up to 1% of sum insured per day (excluding cumulative bonus)
- Gold plan and Platinum plan with sum insured options ranging between Rs. 3 Lakh and Rs. 7.5 Lakh allow accommodation till single private air conditioned room. Whereas the plans with sum insured options ranging between Rs. 10 Lakh and above allow accommodation in any room category.

The critical illness section of Star Package Policy pays you a lump sum benefit amount or diagnosis of any of the listed critical illnesses, after the completion of 30 days survival period. You can use this amount for treatment of the disease, donor expenses, lifestyle changes, or a planned treatment outside India. Under the policy, you can cover your spouse as well as children too, by paying 50% and 25% additional premium respectively.
