Scope of Coverage

• Expenses for normal as well as C-section delivery

Eligibility

To reap the maternity benefits, a woman needs to be insured under the Digit Plus Policy. The maximum entry age is 60 years. However, a child from 1 year can also be covered along with mother.

Exclusions

• Pre-natal and post-natal expenses unless leads to hospitalisation
• Pre-existing diseases until the waiting period is over
• Artificial Life Maintenance expenses
• Medical expenses due to unlawful termination
• Expenses for harvesting and storage of stem cells when carried out as a preventive measure
