Bajaj Allianz Launches Mobile App to Cater to Farmers' Needs

Bajaj Allianz has introduced a mobile application named ‘Farmitra’ that solves certain grievances of the farmers and allows them to enrol and register claims under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. The app serves even to those who are not the customers of Bajaj Allianz.

Not only crop insurance, but the farmers can also purchase other insurance covers from Bajaj Allianz and seek related information including that of market rates of crops, weather forecasts, and locators for agriculture inputs.

The private insurer Bajaj Allianz General Insurance persuaded external partners to provide agricultural advisors and information that will be provided free of cost.
