Insuremile Unveiled a Unique Education Policy in Collaboration with Leading Health Insurers

An insurance aggregator, Insuremile, recently launched a unique education guarantee policy in conjunction with leading health insurance companies. The main aim of the policy is to guarantee education to the students who are pursuing higher education at an affordable premium of Rs. 100. Many students in India every year have to discontinue their education in the event of parent death/critical illness/accident. With this policy in hand, the students can continue their education and don’t have to stop studies due to financial constraint during a mishap.

The policy can be purchased on Insuremile platform. Currently, the policy is offered by Religare, Star Health, Apollo and Aditya Birla. The coverage of the policy is based on the age of the student to calculate the remaining years of education and the total expenses required to complete the education.

Not only the policy offers a guarantee for higher education but also covers student safety in school. The policy provides coverage for emergency treatment in case the student gets injured in school premises or emergency in the school bus before the child is dropped off. It covers expenses related to medical treatment offered by a medical practitioner either in a hospital, IPD or OPD.

Mallesh Reddy, founder of Insuremile, said that this policy is going to benefit many students. This policy is going to give peace of mind to not only parents but also to schools. Insuremile currently has a customer base of 2200 customers and is expecting to increase this number to 50,000 customers in a year.
