List of Documents Required for Car Insurance Claim
There are 3 types of compensation from a car insurance policy which require their own set of documents for making a claim. The types of claims are - accident claim, third-party claim and car theft claim. - Copy of car registration certificate
- Your Driving License Card
- Copy of a filed FIR
- Stamped company-registered original documents for the vehicle
3. Car Theft Claim
The following documents are extremely important along with other items which previously belonged to your car like duplicate keys, warranty cards, and manuals have to be produced at the time of claiming for theft disbursal -
- Copy of Insurance policy document
- Copy of the theft FIR
- Theft declaration from Regional Transport Office
- Theft claim forms of the insurance company filled up and stamped with revenue stamp
- Original car registration book
