About IFFCO Tokio Corona Rakshak Health Insurance

IFFCO Tokio Corona Rakshak Policy is a fixed benefit medical insurance policy that reduces your financial burden in case you get diagnosed with the pandemic declared COVID-19. The policy pays a lump sum benefit equal to 100% of sum insured if you require hospitalisation for a continuous period of at least 72 hours provided the diagnosis took place at a government authorized diagnostic centre. Available on an individual basis, IFFCO Tokio Corona Rakshak Policy can be purchased by anyone who is aged between 18 years and 65 years. As a Proposer, you can purchase this policy for adult members of the family, without covering yourself. It offers you a wide sum insured range between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 2.5 lakh in the multiples of Rs. 50,000.

Available for short tenures, IFFCO Tokio Corona Rakshak Policy can be purchased for 3.5 months (105 days), 6.5 months (195 days), and 9.5 months (285 days). It is a fixed benefit policy and therefore will get terminated upon the payment of lump sum amount in case a claim is made. Also, note that the policy does not offer a free look period and can not be renewed. Also, you will be required to complete a waiting period of 15 days in order to avail benefits under the policy.

  • Coverage for policy terms of 3.5 months, 6.5 months, or 9.5 months

What's Not Included

  • Any treatment that is not related to COVID-19 is not covered
  • Any claim incurred during the waiting period of 15 days will not be covered
  • Any claim wherein the diagnosis was done before the policy start date
  • No cover will be provided if the insured travels to a country placed under travel restrictions by the government of India
  • Testing done at a diagnostic center not authorized by the government

The company may cancel your IFFCO Tokio Corona Rakshak Policy any time in case of non-disclosure of material facts, mis-representation, fraud from your end, by giving written notice for 7 days. Note that there will be no refund of premium if the policy has been cancelled due to non-disclosure of material facts, fraud, or mis-representation.
