    The SBI General’s Health Insurance Policy–Retail offers parental care, which is available for persons above 60 years of age. Under this facility, the attendant nursing charges after discharge from the hospital is Rs. 500 or actual, whichever is less per day up to a max. This is available for 10 days per hospitalisation. The insurer reimburses the charges if the time does not exceed 15 days during the entire policy period.

  • Is any alternative treatment like Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani covered under the health insurance policy of SBI General?

    Yes, SBI General reimburses the amount incurred in Ayurveda treatment up to a maximum of 15% of the sum insured per policy period up to a maximum of Rs. 20,000. In addition under the Homeopathy and Unani treatment, up to a maximum of 10% of sum insured per policy period up to a maximum of Rs. 15,000 is reimbursed.
