  • Is the facility of cashless hospitalisation available under the plan?

    Yes, cashless hospitalisation is available under the plan if the insured takes treatment at any network hospital. The company is tied-up with more than 3000 hospitals at which cashless treatment facility is available.

  • Which critical illnesses are covered under the plan?

    The plan covers cancer, coma, major burns, first heart attack, multiple sclerosis, kidney failure, paralysis, stroke and total blindness.

  • Is there any survival period for critical illness claims?

    Yes, a survival period of 30 days is applicable in case of critical illness claims.

  • What is the available sum insured under the plan?

    The sum insured depends on the coverage variant chosen. For Classic plan the sum insured is Rs. 3 Lakh, for Supreme it is Rs. 5 Lakh and for Elite it is Rs. 5 Lakh.

  • What is the limit of ambulance cost?

    All the plan variants cover ambulance costs up to Rs. 2000.

  • What is the limit of hospital cash benefit?

    Hospital cash benefit is Rs. 2000/day for Classic Plan, Rs. 3000/day for Supreme Plan and Rs. 4000/day for Elite Plan. This benefit is increased if the insured is admitted to an ICU. In such cases the limit increases to Rs. 3000/day for Classic Plan, Rs. 4500/day for Supreme Plan and Rs. 6000/day for Elite Plan.

  • What is the entry age for buying the plan?

    Individuals aged 18 years and above but up to 65 years can buy the plan.

  • What is the maximum cover ceasing age?

    There is no maximum cover ceasing age. The plan is renewable lifelong.

  • What is the waiting period for surgeries?

    For major surgeries, the waiting period is 120 days and for minor ones, the waiting period is 90 days.

  • Does the plan allow free-look cancellation?

    Yes, the plan allows free-look cancellations. Policyholders have a period of 15 days after the issuance of the policy to change their minds and cancel the plan. Once the plan is cancelled, the premium paid is refunded back after deducting certain charges.
