A network hospital is a hospital that has a tie-up with the insurance company and that allows you to avail of cashless medical treatment based on deferred payment. Generally, general insurance companies or health insurance companies have a wide network of hospitals across India. These network hospitals are also known as cashless network hospitals.

Royal Sundaram General Insurance has more than 5,000 network hospitals in India wherein the policyholders can avail cashless treatment as per their zones. The policyholders can avail the treatments that their Royal Sundaram Health Insurance plans cover them for, up to the sum insured limit and as per the terms and conditions of the policy.

In the network hospital, the policyholders have the flexibility to avail either planned hospitalisation or emergency hospitalisation. Note that in either case, the policyholders are required to inform the insurance company within the stipulated time.
