About Royal Sundaram Corona Kavach Health Insurance

Royal Sundaram Corona Kavach Policy is a standard health insurance plan that covers hospitalisation expenses if you get infected with COVID-19. It is an indemnity-based policy that can be purchased on an individual or floater basis. On an individual basis, the sum insured is applied to each individual family member, and on a floater basis, the sum insured is applied to the entire family. Anyone aged between 1 day and 65 years can be covered under this policy. Along with self, you can also include your family members like legally wedded spouse, dependent children (natural or legally adopted), parents, and parents-in-laws.

Royal Sundaram Corona Kavach Policy is a short-term policy that is available for 3.5 months, 6.5 months, and 9.5 months. It comes without any co-payment clause and offers you an optional cover of hospital daily cash. You can buy the policy for sum insured options ranging between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 5 lakh (in multiples of Rs. 50,000). Once you complete the waiting period of 15 days, you will be eligible to avail of policy benefits.
