About Bharti AXA Smart Super Top-up Health Insurance

Bharti AXA Smart Super Top-up Policy is a super top-up policy that covers you for in-patient hospitalisation expenses and domiciliary hospitalisation expenses along with several other optional covers, on indemnity payout basis. The policy benefits kick in when the hospital bills exceed the deductible. This means that the claims will be admissible only when the aggregate of expenses covered under hospitalisation (single or more) crosses the defined aggregate policy deductible chosen. Only the amount exceeding the defined aggregate policy deductible amount in the schedule will be payable. Note that the deductible will be applied for every year in case of multiple year policies.

Smart Super Top-up Insurance Policy covers you on indemnity payout basis for hospitalisation benefit and critical illnesses, whereas on benefit payment basis for daily cash benefit. You can buy this policy if you are aged between 18 years and 70 years, either on an individual basis or on a family floater basis. If purchased on an individual basis, the sum insured will be applicable to each family member. Whereas on family floater basis, the sum insured will be available for the entire family. Some of the optional covers that you can opt for under the policy are AYUSH treatments, dental treatments, home nursing coverage, renewal incentive, wellness and value added services, etc. Also, you can avail tax benefits on the premium paid for Smart Super Top-up Policy, under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
