    Arogya Premier Policy comes with the following  waiting periods: 

    • Waiting period for pre-existing diseases: 48 months
    • Initial waiting period: 30 days, except for accidents 
    • Certain specific illnesses: 12 months and 90 days
    • Waiting period for maternity coverage: 9 months
  • Does SBI Arogya Premier Policy allow the policyholder to avail tax benefits?

    Yes! A policyholder can avail deduction under Section 80D of Income Tax Act from taxable income for health insurance premium paid. For self, spouse & dependent children and parents, the deduction is maximum of Rs. 25,000. The deduction is maximum Rs. 30,000 if the parents are senior citizens.
