  • What are the sum insured options available under my: health Suraksha Policy?

    The my: health Suraksha Policy offers the sum insured options on an individual and family floater basis. The SI ranges between Rs. 3 Lakh to Rs. 75 Lakh under both types of policies. 

  • What are the entry and exit age applicable under this health insurance plan?

    The policy has the entry age of 18 years with no exit age. However, it provides coverage for dependent children from the age of 3 months to 25 years. 

     

  • Who all can get the coverage under this my: health Suraksha Policy?

    The plan allows the coverage for different relations under an individual as well as a family floater policy. Family members who can get covered under the individual plan of this plan include Proposer, Spouse, Dependent Children, Dependant Parents, Dependent Parents-in-law, Grand Mother, Grand Father, Grand Son, Grand Daughter, Daughter-in-law, Son-in-law, Sister, Brother, Sister-in-law, Brother-in-law, Nephew, and Niece. Whereas, under the family floater option, Self, Spouse, Dependent Children and Dependent Parents and Dependent Parents-in-law can be covered.  

     

  • How many types of policies are offered under my: health Suraksha Plan?

    There are two types of plans available under this policy which are as follows:

    A) Individual Sum Insured Option under the base policy and my: health Critical Illness Add-on
    B) Floater Sum Insured Option under the base policy and my: health Hospital Cash Benefit Add on
     

  • What is the policy period or coverage term applicable under this health plan?

    This my: health Suraksha Policy can be issued for 1 year, 2 years and 3 years.

  • In how many variants this health insurance plan available?

    The my: health Suraksha Policy is available in three variants that comprises of Silver Smart, Gold Smart & Platinum Smart Plans. 

  • Does this policy offer any discount to its policyholders?

    Yes, the plan provides several types of discounts to its customers such as:

    • Family Discount - Under this discount provision, a discount of 10% on the premium shall be offered if 2 or more of any of eligible family members are covered under an individual sum insured policy with the company.
    • Loyalty Discount - If insured has purchased policies for more than 1 product, a 2.5% discount of my: health Suraksha premium is offered.
    • Long term policy discount - A discount of 7.5% and 12.5% shall be offered on premium, in case a policy is purchased for 2-year and 3-year tenure respectively with Annual Premium Payment option

     

  • Can I pay the premium of my: health Suraksha Policy in instalments?

    Yes, the plan allows the option of premium payment on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual basis. 

     

  • Is there any option available for the coverage of alternative treatments?

    Yes, the plan will be paying for the medical expenses on the hospitalisation of insured person for some alternative treatments prescribed by a medical practitioner such as Ayurvedic, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.

     

  • Does my: health Suraksha Policy offer any optional cover?

    Yes, my: health Suraksha Policy provides some optional covers to its customers such as Parent and Child Care Cover – Booster, Non-Medical Expenses cover, Extended Cumulative Bonus, Room Rent Modification Option and Co-Payment.
