Common Digit Bike Insurance Claim Rejection Reasons
Digit General Insurance has set some standards that every policyholder needs to follow to settle a claim. The insurer rejects the claim under the following circumstances:
- Act of negligence
- Misinterpretation of facts
- Registration of a fraud Claim
- Lack of details required to process the claim
- Delay in intimation about the mishap to the insurer
- Driving without a licence or under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs
Go Digit No Claim Bonus
Go Digit and all other insurance providers in India offer No Claim Bonus along with the own-damage covers for two-wheelers. Customers can purchase this type of cover either as a standalone own-damage cover or as part of a comprehensive insurance plan. The NCB is offered only for claim-free years and is cumulative in nature. Thus in the fifth consecutive year, it reaches its maximum limit of 50 per cent. However, whenever a policyholder files for an insurance claim, no matter how minor the NCB is disabled. To protect the NCB as long as possible, policyholders are advised to file a two-wheeler insurance claim only when the damage to the two-wheeler is serious and the claim amount exceeds the NCB.
The insurance holder must also renew their two-wheeler insurance policy on time to maintain the NCB valid. Failure to do so will make the NCB invalid, causing losses. Because it is difficult to keep track of expiry dates in our busy lives, policyholders let their customers have a grace period. For (0 days after the expiry date the policyholders have a chance to renew their insurance even though the expiry date is over. But any further delays are not entertained by the insurance provider. However, do not be concerned about losing your NCB if you change insurance providers or sell your current two-wheeler for a new one.It is a transferable benefit and will be done by the insurance providers with no hassle on your side.
