- Intoxication
- Lack of details required to process the claim

- Reliance No Claim Bonus
With its own-damage covers, Reliance Two-Wheeler Insurance offers a No Claim Bonus. In India, this type of insurance is available as a stand-alone own-damage insurance or as part of a comprehensive two-wheeler insurance. The NCB is a reward given to the policyholder for their safe driving habits every claim-free year. Furthermore, it incentivises this behavior, the NCB is cumulative in nature which means that every consecutive claim-free year the amount becomes higher. The maximum NCB a policyholder can receive is 50 per cent in the fifth consecutive year. The reward, on the other hand, is disabled when the insurance holder files a claim. As a result, filing an insurance claim is more cost-effective for the policyholder only if the damage to their two-wheeler is significant in the case of a mishap.
To keep the No Claim Bonus intact the policyholder will also have to renew their two-wheeler insurance on time. If the policyholder is unable to do this the accumulated NCB will be lost. When an expiry date is missed, insurance companies give their customers a 90-day grace period. If the renewal is not completed even after this extension, the two-wheeler insurance will be canceled and the NCB will be lost. Lastly, if the policyholder wishes to shift to a different insurance provider during renewal or sell their current two-wheeler to purchase a new one the NCB will not be lost, it simply gets transferred to the new insurance policy.

Reliance No Claim Bonus
Reliance Two-Wheeler Insurance offers No Claim Bonus with its own-damage covers. In India, this type of cover can be purchased as standalone own-damage insurance or as part of a comprehensive insurance plan for two-wheelers.Every claim-free year, the NCB is given to the policyholder as a reward for their safe driving habits. Furthermore, the NCB creates an incentive for this behaviour because it is cumulative, meaning that the amount rises with each consecutive claim-free year. The maximum NCB a policyholder can receive is 50 per cent in the fifth consecutive year. However, the reward is disabled whenever the insurance holder files a claim. Thus, it makes more financial sense for the policyholder to file for an insurance claim only if the damage to their two-wheeler in case of a mishap is significant.

The two-wheeler insurance will be cancelled and the NCB will be lost if the renewal is not completed even after this extension. Lastly, if a policyholder wants to switch insurance providers during renewal or sell their current two-wheeler to buy a new one, the NCB will not be lost; it will simply be transferred to the new insurance policy.
