Oriental Car Insurance Renewal

A car insurance protects a car from unforeseen liabilities and it must be renewed in due time to keep the car insured against liabilities arising from any accident/loss/damage. Oriental Insurance offers you an easy car insurance policy renewal process. You can renew your car insurance policy with Oriental Insurance both online and offline.

Oriental Car Insurance Renewal - Online Process

Step 1: Visit Oriental Insurance’s official website and click on the ‘Renew Online’ tab.

Step 2: If your existing policy is from Oriental Insurance, select ‘Renewal of OICL policy’ option. If your existing car insurance policy is from an insurer other than Oriental Insurance, select ‘Renewal of non-OICL policy’.

Step 3: Enter your existing car insurance policy number under the ‘Enter Existing Policy Number’ column and select ‘Motor Insurance Policy’ option from the drop-down list. Click on ‘Renew Now’ button to continue.

Step 4: Check your policy details, premium amount and personal details. Make the payment using a Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking. After making the payment, you will receive an email from Oriental Insurance confirming the renewal of your car insurance policy.

Oriental Car Insurance Renewal - Offline Process

You can call the toll-free number 1800-118-485 and ask an Oriental Insurance representative to initiate a renewal process for your car insurance policy. The payment of the renewal fee in this case has to be made by cheque.

  • How much time does it take for policy renewal after payment?

    Post making renewal fee payment, the policy is renewed instantly. You will get a confirmation email and SMS for the same along with a digitally signed renewal document.

  • Can I opt for add-on covers while renewing my car insurance policy?

    Yes, you can modify your add-ons at the time of renewal but only if your existing car insurance policy was issued by Oriental Insurance. However, to modify non-Oriental car insurance policies, you have to renew it from the respective insurer’s website.

  • I was supposed to get NCB discount post first renewal. Why am I not getting that?

    The issue might be because of the fact that you had filed a claim in the last tenure. However, if you last tenure has gone claim-free and you are still not getting the NCB discount, contact Oriental Insurance at 011-3320-8485.
