National Insurance Critical Illness Mediclaim Policy
National Critical Illness Policy is a critical illness insurance policy designed to provide coverage for the expenses incurred in the treatment of critical illnesses. It has two plans, Plan A and Plan B. Plan A covers 11 critical illnesses, whereas Plan B covers 37 critical illnesses (including Plan A). Some of the critical illnesses covered under both the plans are:
- Cancer of Specified Severity
- Coma of Specified Severity
- Kidney Failure Requiring Regular Dialysis
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery
- Open Heart Replacement

National Critical Illness Policy provides coverage for up to 37 life-threatening diseases. The cover is available for you and your family members. Under this policy, the insurance company pays the insured person a lump sum amount if he or she is diagnosed with any specified critical illnesses.
